Student Responsibilities

• Active class participation, which includes being prepared for each class, and taking part in discussion.
• Two Reports (9-10 machine-printed pages, with footnotes and bibliography) presented in class with web-based images
• One Final Exam
  • The Final Exam (Thursday, December 11) consists of two parts
    • 20 images will be projected, each for 30 seconds. Name the ARTIST in each case
    • 4 images will be projected, each for 12 minutes. In each case
      • identify the artist
      • give the name or title of the image
      • give a date or dates (to within 5 years)
      • write a essay on what you know about the image
    Both the identifications and the images will be selected from the list of study images provided

Grading

• Class participation = 10%
• First Report = 30%
• Second Report = 30%
• Final Exam = 30%
