An examination of selected topics in the History of Art
Seminar Theme 2008: Images of Women and Men in Western Art

- Active Participation in Seminar Discussion
- FOUR Reports, two in Part I and two in Part II. Each report will take the form of an online webpage posted on your own website (through Lazlo) and presented in the seminar. For each report, you must also provide a selected list of sources (printed books and articles, plus links to online articles, essays, and other resources). On the website for your presentation:
- The text of the report should be in essay form (length equivalent to 5 to 7 pages). Include:
- introduction to the topic selected
- overview of the various issues and questions surrounding it
- analysis and discussion of seminar theme as it pertains to the selected topic
- selection of pertinent images
- selection of points for discussion in the seminar

Grading
- Each Report (inclusive of essay, presentation, and discussion) = 25%
