Student Responsibilities
- Active class participation, which includes being prepared for each class, asking questions, and taking part in discussion.
- Read all the assignments before class meets, as indicated on the schedule
- Attend all class meetings (poor attendance will result in a lower final grade)
- Takes notes in class and make notes while reading the textbook
Quizzes
- Three Quizzes: February 23, April 6, and May 4
Paper
- One Paper on a topic selected from a list posted on April 1 and due April 27
Grading
- First Quiz = 25%
- Second Quiz = 25%
- Third Quiz = 25%
- Paper = 25%
