Student Responsibilities
- Active class participation, which includes being prepared for each class, and taking part in discussion.
- Read all the assignments before class meets, as indicated on the schedule
- Attend all class meetings
- Takes notes in class and make notes while reading the textbook and other assignments
Paper and Exams
- One five-page, double-spaced paper (due December 7)
- Two, non-cumulative, take-home exams (due October 3 and December 12)
Grading
- First Exam = 30%
- Second Exam = 30%
- Paper = 30%
- Attendance and Participation = 10%
